Greetings beloved sisters and brothers,
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst – (1 Timothy 1:15 NIV)
I, Jean Ludjert Vital have been a believer of Jesus-Christ for 42 years. I was born into Catholicism, and attended a catholic school called The Brothers of Sacred Heart, from elementary to High school. At the age of ten, I had already received the first 3 of 7 sacraments of Catholicism. However in 1975, thanks to the relentless work of the Holy Spirit, I was exposed to a personal evangelization lead by Pastor Victor Mésséjour of the Faith Baptist church. His weekly outdoor evangelism messages every Wednesday at the center of a four-way street near my house in Haiti raised a consciousness andawarenessin me of being lost asan active sinner from birth. Three years later, in the summer of 1978, the Lord won my heart and saved me through Jesus Christ and his gospel.
It didn’t take longafter my conversion that the Holy Spirithas made me understand that I hadentered a spiritual battle, but He has also whispered to me that Heaven is on my side. Evidently, before I came to know Jesus, I did not feel as pressed by sin as I now did; it felt as though a volcanohad erupted inside of me. However, glory to God, at the same time, Hehad given me a thirst for prayer and a hunger for his Word. I started reading the Bible and gospel tracts with great appetite while praying fervently. As God was walking with me and working on me, with me, and in me,I came to comprehend that His Living Word is my unmovable anchor against the inevitable storm of sin and its fate, and God himselfis my Rock and my Salvation that I should always lean on.
As I journey to my celestial and eternal dwelling, God has joined me with one of his beautiful daughters, MedelineLouissaint and, through her, He has blessedme with two handsome sons, Christ Emmanuel and Philip Nathanel Vital andentrusted me with their upbringing.
Through my career as a Christian Brother and a bound servant of Jesus-Christ, I have attended several churches from Haiti to America, and served in varied positions from Youth Vice-President to Sunday school teacher, from exhorter to Evangelist, and from worship leader to committee member. Serving is all about giving yourself and it is noble(Mat 20:27); giving is the emblem of love (John 3:16); and love is proven as an identification of Christ’s followers (John 13:35). Therefore, I am condemned to love and serve God’s Kingdom and his people with all the capacity, ability, energy, and resources my loving and eternal Father has gifted and equipped me with.
With love and humility,I esteem you all fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household and thank you for your fellowship and encouragement. 13:35). Therefore, I am condemned to love and serve God’s Kingdom and his people with all the capacity, ability, energy, and resources my loving and eternal Father has gifted and equipped me with.

Your servant,

Jean L Vital
